Why us
Why contract clinicians use us
We plan around your contract calendar
Your assignment has a start date, an end date, and a maybe-extension. We match lease terms to that window, read the early-termination clause before you sign, and ask every community up front how week 14 works — not after you’re locked in.
Commute truth at shift hours
A 6:45 AM drive to the Medical Center is not the same drive at noon, and a 7:00 PM night-shift departure hits rush hour head-on. We quote drive times for the hours you’ll actually be on the road, plus where you’ll park when you get there.
Furnished math, done honestly
Furnished units carry a premium. Over 13 weeks that premium sometimes beats hauling or renting your own furniture — and sometimes it doesn’t. We put both totals side by side using your real numbers and let you pick.
One licensed contact who answers between shifts
You deal with one licensed apartment locator, not a call center. Text first if that’s easier — we know you might be asleep at 2 PM and free at 9 PM, and we schedule around that.

Alternatives
How we compare

Agency Housing vs. Taking the Stipend
The first fork in every contract: let the agency house you, or take the housing money and lease your own place. Neither answer is right for everyone, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling one of the two.

Listing Platforms & STR Sites vs. a Licensed Locator
Furnished-housing boards and short-term rental platforms are where most travel nurses start, for good reason: huge furnished inventory, traveler reviews, and instant browsing at 2 AM between shifts. The question is what the listings don’t tell you.

Splitting With Other Travelers vs. Your Own Lease
Two or three travelers sharing a big two- or three-bedroom is the cheapest housing on the table and comes with built-in company in a new city. It is also a legal and logistical entanglement that ends badly exactly as often as it ends well.

Common questions
What does an apartment locator cost a travel nurse?
Nothing. The apartment community pays our locating fee when you lease — you pay $0, and the rate you get is the community’s own rate, verified in writing before you tour.
My assignment isn’t confirmed yet. Is it too early to start?
No — that’s actually the best time. Give us the likely facility and rough dates and we’ll build the shortlist and verify terms in the background, so the day your contract is signed you’re touring instead of searching.
Do you only work with nurses?
No — any contract clinician on an assignment: travel nurses, surgical and imaging techs, therapists, physicians on locum contracts, and allied health. If your housing has a start date and an end date, the same planning applies.
Can you promise a community will approve me?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Screening decisions belong to each community. What we do is verify each community’s stated requirements before you apply, so you spend application fees only where your file genuinely fits.
Which parts of San Antonio do you cover?
All of the metro’s hospital clusters — the Medical Center, downtown and Baptist, Stone Oak, Westover Hills, the northeast side, and Fort Sam and BAMC — plus the surrounding communities a sane commute away from each.
Your next 13 weeks deserve better than a blind lease.
Tell us your hospital, your start date, and your contract length. We’ll shortlist communities whose terms actually fit the assignment — verified in writing, at no cost to you.
